Libraries are the natural partners of schools and are the lifeblood of learning and community life.
The Madison County Public Libraries (MCPL) plays a vital role in our community, supporting not only student and lifelong learning but also serving as the beating heart of community life. In recognition of its excellence, the MCPL was honored by the Library Journal as the Best Small Library in America, a distinction that is evident in the library’s community outreach, activities, and superb library staff.
